man it seems like the exact thing my 95 f150 did with 35's. it had that crap front susp and the tires started cupping. Schuabs couldnt even figure it out. no one had any ideas, till i asked a buddy and he said his 01' f-350 with 36's did the same thing, till he replaced the tires. i even had people point at my front axle as i was going down the road. and rotating the tires didnt help either. i replaced the tires and that was it. mine did it between 35 and 50. if you got passed 50 it USUALLY was fine, till about the time i replaced my tires it was real bad. but yeah it felt like the the front end was shaking back and forth violently.
might not be much help, but thats my thoughts on the issue. perhaps bad tires.....

I think that the Ford fix in the 2nd TSB may help a good bit. I am still evaluating.

They wouldn't show me the TSB but the tech said it was 5 pages long and covered alot of things to check in a specific order and the addition of a shim package. He also said to keep my tire pressure @ 75 lbs. (the max for my tire).

I've driven it about 250 miles since getting it back, alomst all @ 65 to 75 MPH, the last 100 miles towing an empty 2,000 lb trailer. It seems to have helped the problem. Not completely gone but 95%. I am becoming more confident with every mile. It is actually better towing than not towing.

I'm driving from Philadelphia to Indianapolis and back next week and will have a better evaluation when I get back.

Good news about the possible remedy...but OUCH! Running 75lbs with the Heavy Service front springs... If I was to do that, I'd have to visit a chiropracter! lol

I've got one too... doesn't fix it if you've got the HS spring pkg.

Just to add some feedback from my truck:

2005 F-250 CC 4WD SB V10 XLT with 17in Goodyears and the trailer tow package. No death wobble. No fighting the wheel. No issues of any kind other than a somewhat stiff ride, not unexpected from a large, heavy vehicle with firm springs. This is the case both unloaded and when towing a 29' boat on steel trailer, probably 8500 lbs all up.

I'll have to look - I do have a heavy duty suspension package of some sort, as my truck has the highest tow rating for the F-250, but I'm not sure which package I've got (don't have the sticker in front of me).

Forgot to add, the tires are Goodrich, not Goodyear and are kept at 75 psi all the way around.

I just got an 06 F250 CC LB FX4 and I have that driving over a bump and the steering wheel wants to move about 1 1/2 inches at the most. But is constantly there, smaller bumps = smaller jumps in the steering wheel. One other thing I did was turn the wheels out from the curb and backed into the curb to see what it would do, it finished turning the steering wheel the rest of the way. I don't think that is right. My 04 F150 FX4 has no movement on the same roads and niether did my old 94 F250 4x4. I personally think it is a weak power steering pump letting the wheels take over. I also have a stock steering stab. 400 miles on it so far. The steering wheel also turns stiff. i think I will take it to the dealer.

Well, I just got back from my trip. I was towing the entire trip. I have totally forgotten about the wobble! I'll unhook tonight and drive without the trailer some more but i thik the 2nd TSB seems to have done the trick, at least for now.
