Sup guys , new here. I am swapping a 91 mustang 302 into a 2001 Sport Trac. I am also going carb. for show purposes. Anyone have help ideas? Already at point to weld in motor mounts and fit engine. Also running a C-4 trans.

As for going carb and C4, get ready to change everything. Almost the whole electrical and fuel systems will have to be swapped out. Get the wiring diagrams for your Sport Trac and check everything that is tied into the computer...that's what you'll have to change. I really hope you haven't already hacked out a bunch of stuff.

The easy way would be to scavenge a 302 equipped Exploder and drop that assembly in, but then again, how do you run something with an electronic speedometer with a carb setup?

 

The plan guys is to do away with all the factory wiring.. Running Dakota Digital gauges, inline fuel pump and c4 trans to eliminate the wiring mess that was under the hood. Windows and ignition will all be wired through alarm. Batteries are relocated to bed already and shaving and smoothing firewall and changing paint.
