2-barrel questions
im looking to get a little more performance out of my 300 its in a 77 f-100 2wd 3speed. my question is will it help if i put my brand new motor craft 2 barrel will it give my 6 and more go. ill probaly make an adapter out of aluminum to go from the 1barrel to the 2 barrel.

1st & 4 most is the FACT that you need to make 300c.i.er BREATH! 
Just replaceing the 1 Bbl. for a 2v will Only achieve you getting Worse Petral Milage, as you'll Just be blowing Raw Fuel out you Tail Pipe.
That means you must 1st REPLACE the Stock Intake (for offenhauser, edelbrock, fenton, etc.) & Exhaust (for borla, hedman, edelbrock, etc.) Manifolds, then Fit a 2v or 4v Holley Carb. to get the basic improvement you wish to achieve, 25% Minimum.
After that, you are looking @ B&Bing, Minimal P&Ping, Performance Cam, Roller Rockers, Over Sized Valves, Deck Heighting, Steele Crank, etc.
BUT, YOU MUST MAKE THESE 300c.i.ers BREATH 1st, IT IS THE PRIORITY!
Do a SEARCH on this Forum, if you don't believe me, you'll find plenty of Intele on just making the 300c.i.er breath.
