i was wondering if there is an adapter or something i can get so i can keep my engine warm with these dreadful cold days my 84 bronco with i6 300 carbed is a pain in the but to start when its cold and lately the highest temp in my area is still below freezing the motor is relitivly new 36000 miles on it so i dont want to murder it either.

You can get a block heater as on the diesel engines. I've got one from Autozone that goes in the heater hose. It warms and circulates the water, plugs into a standard 120 outlet. It's called a circulation tank heater and uses 1000 watts.
