Dropped off the face of the earth ...

Okay guys, sorry I've been so quiet since I got here. And after you were all so awesome at helping me out and then checking up on me while I was travelling. Okay, well maybe it wasn't really checking up, more like making fun at my expense ...

So the ol' 92 F150 passed it's emissions test with flying colours. Actually, with a new Catco hi-flo, the results were so low I wondered if they had it running while they were testing it ...

Unfortunately, I can't afford to insure it yet (nor to fix the big gash in the side caused by the wheel falling off) ... so it's a driveway ornament with 120 litres of September's $1.08/L gas (yes, stabilized) sitting in it. I sure miss driving it, but I still take it for a run once a week (after I chip it off the driveway) ... don't tell the local OPP ...

I start part time work in January in St Thomas so will get it insured by then, because I can't trust that the little Toy car won't get blown off Hwy 3 in a snow squall comin' home from work at midnight ...

And I'm enrolled in my AZ driver training in London starting in January too. Can't wait to start "rippin' up the tar on the 401" with the big boys (quote being Stompin' Tom of course) ...

There You Are !!!!!!!!!!

Life in the snow belt should be fun for you & your putt-putt.
Are you planning on OTR local runs? Keep us posted on how this goes.
Being close to Hwy 3, you could go to the drag strip near St Thomas, or Cayuga, or up to Grand Bend as an easy day trip come summer.
As you can see around here, we still have fun goofin' & such.
Stay tuned.

Welcome back! Good to here your working, unemployment will drive a person crazy after a while. So now your truck can start eating away at your income, like the rest of us.
I forgot about your tire mishap, how bad is the truck? If you need parts, don't be shy about asking.

me too

Been a while since I was at this site also, sold the 88 F150 with 5.0 HO in it and bought a 97 Ranger Xlt supercab . 69 torino ragtop is done , just in time to put it away for the winter. Did get to drive it a few blocks before putting into storage, have a few things to correct in the spring....Ranger had 102 k on it, I put a fake hood scoop on it, the one that resembles a LT1 style ,and bug shield on hood ,also rain defelctors on windows. Now has 118 k ,has been a great truck so far ,no problems at all. Regards Mike, Alliston.

Not local. Regional or dedicated OTR, south or west -- leave the daily home time to the guys that have families.

A buddy of mine heads due south quite often. OK, so he did bring me a T-shirt from Fla. The problem is that he said he'd bring me back a real treat & still hasn't. If you get the southern run, could you possibly bring me back some deep fried gator?
TIA.
