Hello everyone. This is my first time posting on this website, while viewing the post frequently. I have a 2001 Ford Excursion XLT 4x2. Well this is my question. I want to lift my excursion, my only problem is that it is my everyday car. My job requires me to do some local driving often and only place is to park in parking structures. At stock height the antena is being smacked around enough as it is. I have some comfort space between me and the ceiling. Anyways i've always wanted a Excursion, now that I finally have one I want to lift it to look clean and not like i'm going to take kids to a soccer practice...no offense meant. It's just not me. So does anyone know of anykind of hydraulic system or airbags that will allow me to lift and lowwer the vehicle. I know it seems like a long shot that anything like that is out there given the weight of the vehicle, it ain't no 67' Impala for sure. So if any of ya'll have any suggestions it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
there is an air ride system that replaces the springs my buddy has it on his but he has the lifted version on 49"s or 52"s his was like $10,000 but like i said it is the lfted version. do a search on here for air systems and lift kits, lots of threads on this. you will learn searching is going to be your friend
do a gogle search for "excursion air lift systems" here is one quick one i found you will have to search for a 2wd one but i know they make them just saw a post in the last month or so on lifting a 2wd http://www.keldermanairride.com/lift...uct=99FRDLIFT4
Thanks, that looks sweet. I also heard some things which I can't say are true are false but that you have to drive a little more rationally so to say with airbags. Like a lot of people I am a aggressive driver. Compliments of stupid drivers on the freeways.
