332 distributor
Looking for part # for late model (62-63) distributor for 332 truck motor. I am upgrading a 56 engine. This distributor has a centrifugal as well as vacuum advance. If I had a part# it would help, all my parts books are too old! Maybe an old parts store that hasn't thrown out all there old parts books.

Thanks Earl, and no, I did not previously post in the engine forum. I now have. Strangely, for as many of these that were produced and as good as they were, not many are falimiliar with them. Say 332, and people think FE, 302 and smallblock comes up, say 279 or 317 and it's HUH? even when talking a 1953 truck. Great forum, a terrific resource for all ford truck nuts.

The 57 Lincoln/Mercury 368 distributor is a drop-in unless you want the tach drive of the original. I almost suspect that the FE/FT might also work, something I sort of remember from years ago. Recurve whatever you find from a car application.
I stripped an parted out a very tired 58 332 a few years ago when we upgraded the F800 to a diesel.
