installing real power steering

is there a kit made to convert my 1973/12 f250 4x4 from fords power assist steering to normal p/s?

I just picked up a '72 power assist. I thought I'd put it on my 79 bronco. Are they any good? Or, I was thinking of making my own power assist. What do you suggest.

I don't think there is a kit, most use better power steering box from 77-79 pickups and adapt them to their older pickups. There's a tech article about it in the 'articles' link at top of page.

Thanks to many oft,

Has any one drilled tapped their ps box to make a ram assist? I'm not sure where to drill the holes for the new hyrodraulic lines for the ram.
