Question what is this light?

on the basic guage cluster with the Tach and the Mini Message Center there is a light between the Fuel Guage and the Tachometer? Does anyone know what this is?

The 2006 XLT and Lariat has traction assist as an option for $195 this is not to be confused with limited slip! Go to the Ford site and you will see the options.

That's definetly what it is Traction assist of traction contol. It will light up briefly when you start up the make sure the bulb works. It will also light up if the truck is experiencing slipery conditions on the road like rain or snow. When it comes on it also means the traction control system is active and trying the help you from spinning the wheels and keeping the truck in a s8 line. Its a great feature to have!!!

Oh ok, i Do that sometimes when looking at dash on the escape the sun has to be in the right position but i can see the spot for lights that dont light up on start-up. (advance-trac light, low anti-freeze and low washer fluid light) but it makes me wonder is the bulb just out? I would like to have those lights in use also.. o well
Good luck
