Overheating solved
I've been fighting an overheating problem on my 82 351. It ran fine in the am but would run up to the high side in the afternoon or when pulling a load. I pulled the fan and was about to replace the clutch when I noticed that the bimetal spring looking dodad was packed with dirt/grease. Tried a little brake cleaner and air hose treatment.........Mobettah now.
