OK,I need some clarity on this:I want an overdrive top(4th)gear.I would also like to lose the"granny(compound)low gear.Now I have read there is a transmission that does both,the question is,can I use it in my 1964 slick?Is there a crossmember issue?Or did the Gods just smile on me?

 

I think the trannny you are reffering to is a later model, after 64 the trans input shafts are a different lenghth and diameter, theres were you run into a problem
