I got a groaning sound when i just touch the gas at low speeds.
At highway speeds and down to 20mph its fine. Sometimes its worse than others. Its accompanied by vibration in the floor both driver and passenger side. As soon as I let go of the peddale at low speeds the vibration and groaning dissapears
Replaced the rear axle back u-joint about 7 months ago and that solved the highway speed similar groaning sound. The front rear axle u-joint was replaced about 3 years ago.
Just wondering what the problem might be now.?
Ive had it to about 3 shops and they all cant find the problem and say my ujoints are fine.
I,m not sure what it could be without hearing it for myself but these are the items I would check...front wheel barings,4x4 locking hubs, front 4x4 axil and all gears with the front part of the 4x4 workings, transmission, if auto is the fluid full and smell it to see if it smells burt,if standard put your finger in the fill hole to see if there are alot of metel shavings, check all your brakes sometimes a pad can rub and make a hell of a sound, well thats where I would start, hope you find it.
