Th abs light on my truck comes on when the truck is cold and will stay on until i shut it off. When i restart it the light is gone. the cycle repeats every day.

You need to take it somewhere to have the ABS codes pulled. What year is the truck? If you are having speedo problems or tranny shifting problems at the same time, and the truck either is 1992 or newer or has an E4OD, then you are likely having problems with the VSS sensor in the rear axle. 99% of the time you can just wipe it off.

Or you can go to fordfuelinjection.com and learn how to pull the codes yourself. It's easy. Or are abs codes not part of that procedure?

They're different altogether.

It might be possible to pull them yourself, but I haven't seen anything on here about how to do it.

I just thought codes were codes and all I know is fordfuellinjection.com. And as soon as I posted that I realized that there was a chance that abs wasn't fuelinjection.com related. Where would those codes come from?

Abs codes can be pulled from a Black/orange wire diagnostic connector located by the emergency brake pedal - from 88 manual thsi lead should not be connected to any other wire (95 shows a red wire connected and it is on the passenger side). With the ABS light showing drive to level area, set park brake, put in Park and keep igniton on so codes will not be lost; locate diagnostic connector and momenterily ground the lead to the chassis - when the ground is made and then broken the rear antilock light will begin to flash. Ignore the first code - numbers will be short flashes and will end with a long flash ie short short short long = 4 and will repeat; codes are 1- 16 with codes 1, 12 and 16 not used. If red brake light is on codes may not be displayed.
Post any codes you receive and will define if in manual. All this assumes 90 is the same as 88 RABS system. Good luck.
