'79 rear power window stuck

Rear window on '79 Bronco full size, while trying to raise, passenger side of window raised while driver side did not raise. any idea what could be causing one side to work and not the other? Is there a plastic gear on the driver side that may be worn? thanks

Will need to check the window switch on door panel. Will need to expose the harness for the window switch. With a test light or volt meter and the ignition switch on, check for positive voltage "+" at the harness, and then check for voltage at the other end of harness with switch depressed.

The guide on the window has become dislodged on one side. There are nylon rollers that ride in a track along the window bottom and when they wear they slip out of the track. Another item that fails is the guide tracks (they rust away) on the inside of the tailgate.

Guide the window down by hand, open the panel and you will see what I am talking about.
