transferflow tanks???
Last week I had the stock gas tank removed and a 47 gal replacement tank installed. Now one week later and about 200 kms the gas cap indicator came on while I was driving to work. No problems at all getting to work and when I got there I checked the cap and it is in good shape and is on as well as it will go. My question, could this be cap related or can there be some problem with the tank install?
I was thinking about stopping at the dealer on the way home to book it in and have a look or should I go to the installer first.
The truck is a 2008 F-350 6.8L.
thanks for the help.

It cost 1835 installed. That is up here in Canada where everything is more expensive regardless of how our dollar is doing. But it was worth it to not have to stop every couple of hours when towing, especially when going over the rockies when milage is a little worse and towns are spread out a little further.
As far as the gas cap, it looks like it was the rubber gasket was the issue. When I straightened it out the message went off.
Thanks for the tip saved me a trip to the installer.

Anytime! Glad that worked for you. I fought with my gas cap light and engine light for quite a while.
Don't forget the rep points!
