79 C6 Trans. leak
My Trans. is leaking fluid at the bottom of the bell housing and I was wondering what all, other than the front seal might be causing the leak. Is there a common problem that shows up in these older C6 Trans. What all is involved in repairing it? I've not pulled a Trans in 20yrs I'd say that I've forgoten more than I ever learned in VOC. school Would you all have any idea what, a fair price would be to pay to have it repaired?

Yep ! Shaft or pilot seal is shot,Time to pull the tranny Or
have a tranny shop do it.

79 C6 Trans. leak
i have recently bought a 79 f100 302 with a c6 behind it that is constantly burning the fluid. can't figure if it's because the lines are too close to the exhaust (like less than an 1 between them) or if it's the clutches. any recommendations?
