lean is mean!

but you still want the a/f at 14 or below, the number 1 warning is not to lean out the motor. Something has to supply more gas!

Got a little bored at work.

An Edelbrock RPM NOS system is on the way via Fed-Ex overnight. I should have it Thursday morning and be blowing up my truck Friday night at the track.

summit part number- EDL-70050

It's capable of a single stage spray of 100, 150, 200 and 250 HP.

I figure I'll just start with the 250 shot right off the line, whaddaya think?

I may also pu the truck on a diet, losing the front bumper, the Class3/4 hitch, the bed and maybe some trim :-) I'll try to relocate the fuel cell and dual batteries over the rear axle.

This could get ugly....

Ugly? I think pulling the front tires off the ground in a truck is PRETTY!!! LOL if you can hook it up that's what she's gonna do!! If you wanna drop some weight, get out the torch and the grinder!! I shaved almost 10 lbs off the dana 60 rear in my race truck, i was just trying to get rid of places for mud to latch onto and i didn't shave to match the cover or nothing like that.... lots of old exhaust hangers, rivets, oversize bumper bolts, long u bolts, extra metal on bumper brackets, things like that. i shaved close to 100 lbs by the time i was done getting rid of that stuff alone!! thats gonna be a fun button to hit....

OMG everybody take shelter! Greg's going to nitrous! I got dibs on any rods that make it to Iowa!

Seriously though Greg, I've heard that running rich with nitrous just makes more power. Which is not necessarily a bad thing.

Greg, I'll run a dyno simulation for your motor and the nitrous. Not to see how much power, but to see what a safe level of nitrous will be. Dyno 2000 has a cylinder pressure indication, and excessive cylinder pressure will break things. I'll be back.
