what transmission?

i have an 84 f150 300 I6 automatic with overdrive, transmission code T. i'm going to put in a floor shifter, but i need to know what transmission i have. i know its stock but thats all and i can't find my manual for the stupid thing. anyone know what i got? also if you know of a good floor shifter please tell me.

My book just lists it as an Automatic Overdrive.

could be a SMOD or TOD...

if its all alm then its a TOD, if it has three shift rails on the side its a SMOD

the sticker on you door sill should give you a code, let us know from there

I know that in my shop manual for my 81 F150, trans code "T" says it's an AUTOMATIC F10D (F100-350)

I don't know if this helps.
