First post of many, many more to come. Is the 1966 Ford Truck Shop Manual (3 books, 4 volumes) ID#BJF-013 listed in Motorhaven the most complete repair manual I can buy to do all repairs on my 1966 F100???

 

I have the 1961 manual, and the 62-63 suppliment. I can't say if they are the most complete, since I have nothing to compare it to, but they are copies of the originals (one paragraph describes how to dispose of sulfur filled push rods by throwing them in a quarry lake - obviously pre-enviromentalist). They are comprehensive, but the wiring diagrams and some charts take some time to decipher. The 66, 3 vol. set may be even more comprehensive. I would say it is money well spent.

 

I have a 1970 four book set, all original, from a flea market. They're pretty complete.
I always look at diagrams and exploded views before tearing into anything, even the car.
