Oily window inside and a code????
97 aerostar, 60K miles,AWD,auto,EXT
1. There is an oily rainbow color film on my windshield that is a bear to remove.What is causing it?? and what do I remove it with?? Heater core?????I have heat but there is a strange odor when the heat first comes on almost like burning rubber/plastic.Nothing wet on the interior floor and no leaks under the darling.
2.Check Eng. Light on after filling gas tank and driving a few miles,checked the cap, may have been to loose(??). Code says P1443 Aux. Emission something. Nephew suggested pulling the battery. It worked until today. What now???
I am new here, first post actually, and will appreciate any info and assistance I can get.

The oily film means your heater core is leaking. It may be very small, but that is a surefire sign of it.
Something is probably wrong with your evaporative emmisions controls. Start with the simple stuff, like the gas cap, and then move up the ladder to the more difficult and expensive things. Check for vacuum leaks, and disconnected hoses too. Check the purge solenoid, as it may not be working.

Welcome! 
Yep, sounds like there is a pin hole in your heater core. Time to replace.
As for the code, i am thinking gas cap, if that does not fix it, then start with those other items that K mentioned.
