1/2" combinatioon wrenches and utility knives. I must have at least a half dozen of each but can never find one when I need it.

I seem to lose track of any tool I'm working with currently, but I'd have to say I spend more time looking for my tape measure than anything else...

I dropped a 7/32 1/4 in drive socket down the back of a car recently when chaning the ignition control module. I spent about 10 minutes changing the module and an hour looking for that stupid socket - still haven't found it. I'll probably find it when I change the intake manifold gasket. I agree with the other posters...Once I got a roll around box that was big enough for all of my tools, it was much easier to keep everything organized and in its place. Another great thing that I've started using is Hanson socket trays. Those things are the best! If there's a post that's open in the tray, either the socket is missing or you never had it to begin with!

Side cuters , only have 1 left, have bought many.

I lost a 8 inch crecent wrench once, It had a 9/16 cut into the spot where the round hole is. I stll have the 6" with a 1/2 in the hole ( It was made by the Diamond Horse Shoe and Caulk company. (still miss that tool) I replaced it with a $50 snap-on.

I loose my tape measurer and pencils the most. Must have a half dozen tape measurers and keep pencils in my pockets and out in the shop but can't seem to be able to find one or the other without hunting.

The tool I lose the most is my mind....wait...that can't be a tool....I don't think its there 90% of the time...lol...Probably the tool I need to finish up the job...no matter what it is, it is always the tool I need to put the last fastner on or something.
