yea I can a agree with both the tape measure's and the saftey glasses, I now have a spot for just tape measure's in the garage, corner in a cabinet, and there are 5 tape measure's in there, Saftey glasses are another story for me yet. spent 5 minutes this weekend looking for a pair and gave that up and used some sunglass as a stop gap when I wanted to saw some 2X4's for a bracket I was making. any way last night Cleaned out some of the parts bench in the garage and found 4 pairs of safety glasses. LOL Put on set under the Seat in the Motorcycle as a last resort I usually look there for a pair and they come in handy if your out on the bike and have to ride home in the dark, "It is really dark when trying to where sun glasses to due this". Any way put the other 3 by the first aid kit and also have the ear muffs there so I am hoping that they don't walk off on me again.

sorry for the long post sublime out.

Ratchet sockets, those things just randomly walk (or roll) away from me all the time. Usually find them sitting under the tool cabinent where they are.

....All my tools. I can never find anything in my garage, whether I organize it or not. I'll put something down right in the middleof the floor, turn around, and I won;t be able to find it

At work Sharpie Markers, have dropped them off step ladders and couldn't find them. My Craftsman short arm boxes wrenches, will walk if I don't keep an eye on them. Also the Stainless steel electrician scissors. Had a problems with electric "jump" boxes till OSHA outlawed them.

The tool pocket on my coveralls.

I only use it for my scraper (I paint structural steel in the plant where it's made) but can't get along without it.

For some reason, all of my horses (they're different sizes...) seem able to catch the scraper handle & rip the pocket right off...

Usually my mind becuase the garage I work in we have a lot of audis, vws, bmws, ect, those are possibly the worst cars to work on. A simple oil change takes time because of all those darn plastic sheilds.

Lost Tool

I have to agree with Goodie350, my problem is whatever my teenage son uses on his car and doesn't put back where he got it. Seems to be phillips head screwdrivers the most

For many years, all the 1/2 inch wrenches seemed to grow up to be 3/4 inch wrenches.
Not so much anymore since I gave em a drawer of their own.
