I haven't been by his place in a while. The truck is down right now, I'm waiting on a new carb as I think that's my issue. If I can get it going this week I'll make a run by his place on the weekend.
Got a mighty Demon on the way right now. One day the truck was running great and the next day it wouldn't start. I fought with it for over a week before I got it to fire again and now, once again, nothing. I think it was a combination of several different factors including the week of sub zero temps we had here.

just curiuos but what would that have to do with it ? maybe thats part of whats wrong with mine to . i know it takes longer to warm up ( using the choke longer ) with headers . but what else ?
Rob had a good practical joke of cutting out some metal plates out and slipping them between the header and the block, then bolting it all back up and watching people try to start their rig. No, it didn't happen to me but the thought had crossed my mind when all else failed.
I thought about using two line locks one frount and one back for parking brakes. Not that I would set them all the time, just if I was working on it with one end up in the air. The ground is pretty flat here in OK.
