Oil & Lubrication

OK. I was wrong. If you paid more than $0.79/qt. for oil, you paid too much.

I always thought that I was right.

Then I got married. . . .

Back on topic, I thought that $1.29/qt. was a deal, but PepBoys has Exxon SuperFlo oil on sale for $0.79/qt. after rebate. All weights. 5w-20, 5w-30, 10w-30, etc. The 5w-20 meets Ford's specs. All are now upgraded to the newest API SM rating.

For those wondering about the quality of the Exxon SuperFlo oils, they are real close to the same performance of the Chevron/Havoline line. It is good oil especially at that price. Might want to stock up.

I'll 1-up you; I got the oil in this picture in early spring '05 at K-Mart for 20 cents/qt. I bought all they had. It's API SJ. I use it in my 97 Expedition.
