Info on Crew Cab 1-Ton Bronco

I recently acquired a 1-ton (350) 1987 Crew Cab Bronco XLT Conversion and would like to find out more about it. I know about the Centurion conversions but do not think this may be one since it has no Centurion nameplate, etc.

I do know it was a chassis (F-350) that was built in Canada, but other than 4 doors, XLT Trim, and front and rear bench seats, there is not much fancy about it.

Any info would be helpful on where to start.

Thanks,

Derek Bakken

PS. The title does show C350 as model

If the title says C-350 it should be a centurian custom. As far as i know they were the only ones making custom broncos using factory ford parts.

Good luck in your search,

does the vehicle have wood trim throught the front 1/2 that was literally screwed on, example: where it would normally say XLT/XL, front doors sill, even to the screwed on; oh-**** handles above the driver and passanger with wood trim block behind each handle? Name: huh.gif

Centurion was the only company licensed to build those conversions to the best of my knowledge. Everything had to come from Ford save for the accessories so they would have had to be willing to sell the componenets for that purpose.

That is what has me confused and is wierd about it, it has "no" fancy interior add-ons, (Wood trim, buckets, centerconsole, etc) and is strictly "plain jane" XLT OE style interior, carpeted floors and bench seats, w/rear heat. The front fenders have "F-350" Tags on them. It has the original 7.5 and C-6 and is a 2wd version. It is in good shape for a 1987 and since I am a Ford nut the only reason for buying was to have a secondary vehicle to pull enclosed trailer when not using motorhome.

Thanks for all the help and I am continuing to "search" for more answers.....
