351W Intake Bolts

On my 351W (in my 76 F100: not sure of the exact year of the motor), I am swapping from a stock 2 BBL iron intake to an Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake.

What size bolts do I need? Will the original bolt length work with the new intake? I'd like to know the size in advance of pulling the old intake so I can have everything ready before I start.

I don't feel like shelling out 26 bucks for 12 bolts/washers in Edelbrock's "bolt kit".

Usually, aftermarket intakes are designed to use the stock bolts. Unless they specify otherwise, you should be okay.

Be verrrrry carefull with the four corner bolts. I just snapped mine while trying to remove the intake on my '79 351W. For some reason they were corrodedbadly about 1/2 way down the bolt.
