ATF in 95 E4OD PSD
I'm thinking just the pan but may do the conveter as well.
I will use my car to get extra fluid if he does not get enough.

How much fluid for the rear diff?
it is posi so additive is a must.
The rear diff only needs additive if there is an "H" in the axle code on the door post sticker. 8 oz for Ford Sterling 10.25 axles, 4 oz for Dana axles. Both the Ford 10.25 and Dana 60 take just over 6 pints of 80W-90 conventional or 75W-140 synthetic.

Changing just the fluid in the pan is a waste of time and money. You won't even get half of the total changed, so why bother? Either drain the pan and torque converter or use the instructions above.
