New to the site.... Just saying hello
I purchased a 65 F-100 LWB stepside about 3 years ago, but only started working on it last year. So far I have installed a 5.0 SEFI/AOD in it and converted it to power steering and power brakes. Now I'm ready for the body work. I just can't seem to find a bed for it. Any info about the truck would be great.

Welcome,
Just another suggestion, but may want to check out ebay, you can indicate item of interest and they will email if it comes up for auction. If interested, would broaden the email notification to list certain year ford parts rather than narrow the field to the year(s) truck bed. With any luck 1 may come up close to your area, depends how far willing to travel. Also, if appears seller is parting out truck you may want to email and inquire. Purchased a hood for my 65 F100 this way. Good luck!!

When I re-did my '70 (shortbed), I had a sheetmetal shop make up side panels. You can buy all the other pieces. I mig welded steel tubing to the top edge to make a rolled edge. I had him make all the sheet metal pieces, then bought f'glas fenders. Good luck finding the little running boards for in front of the fenders, though. It took me forever to find a short-bed set- long bed must be really rare.
