Well, I'm still alive, barely. Right about now, they cut sugar cane and burn the stalks. That and the weather have made me rather ill.

They used to have a sugar factory (beets not cane) in my home town, the place always smelled like burt peanut butter and anyone visiting always comented on how horrible the smell was, guess we were all used to it.
