Oil is still in my fuel filter housing. Do I need to check my Cylinder Heads?
What is next for me to look at?
You guys are missing something here. If he has oil IN his fuel filter, its NOT turbo related. It has to be injector o rings. This is the only way that oil can find its way IN the housing. It has to travel thru the fuel return back to the tank to be picked up and delivered back to the fuel bowl, right? There is no way for it to travel from air side (I.E. turbo) to fuel side (I.E. fuel filter) because of the constant flow of fuel out of injectors. Its similar to water flowing UP hill. I dont even think that a bad seal around tappett on fuel pump would be close enough to let oil back track up stream against flow to coat filter. I dont know as much as a lot, but I just had to get my .02 in. Does anyone agree, or am I way off here?
If I had to diagnose, and this is just a WAG, and ONLY because this guy is new. Hes dumping the oil into the cylinder and buring it. What he is seeing on the fuel filter is bio contamenent. Is the fuel filter hard to the touch??
