I was thinking of trying to take the kids down to the Delta Clearwater this fall for some silver salmon fishing. When's the best time to go? I bought the kids new salmon rigs LAST year and haven't taken them out yet.

 

Right now is a good time. Just be sure to bring your bunny boots and a warm coat. Some windshield de-icer for the rod guides might be a good idea too

 

I'm out of town until November, so it may have to wait until next year.

 

Bummer. Always good to have something to look forward too.
