Is anyone else in the IL Chapter interested in 73-96 2wd pickups? My fiancee Carol and I own 6 of them between us. They are a 73 F100, 77 F100 flareside, 79 F100, 2 92 F150 Flaresides, and a 95 F150. All of them are 2wd regular cabs, and all of them are stock. I'm not into anything customized. I think 73-96 was the best era for Ford pickups. Unfortunately, you don't see too many of them in IL that are still in decent condition. Does anyone else in the IL Chapter have a stock looking 73-96 Ford 2wd that's in good condition?

 

I totally agree 73-96 was the best era for ford trucks.I own a clean 78 f-150 2wd.

I think we're the only ones who own nice 73-96 2wd Ford pickups. By the way, that's a VERY nice 78 F150 that you have!!

 

I know their is more 73-96 ford pickups out their,I guess they are in hiding though.Thanks for the compliment you also have some very nice pickups.

 

When I bought my last truck, I was looking for a 2wd. I couldn't find one in the config, I wanted. So I ended up buying a 4wd. I would agree with 73-87 being the best era for trucks. But after 87, too much influence from the 'non-truck' people buying trucks started changing them.
