Smile Overhauling that good olī Bronco

Hehehe yes! the job itīs finally done... not by myself, sadly... (i wanted to try and do it but i donīt have the space nor the tools needed ) but by some good mechanics, they didnīt even took a week, and did a good and not very expensive job... the engine purrrs like a kitten now and has no rattles at all... it had 156,250 miles on it (i could have been more, the engine was running strong yet but was loosing too much oil... damn it mom! why you overheated it twice ?)... well... iīm pretty happy with the results and iīm looking foward to put some miles on it by doing some nice trip . Iīll keep you guys informed!

I had two of them already!... i climbed the "El Avila" mountain... fairly easy, but it asks a lot from the engine (and i did it with 7 cils. as one of the S. plugs disconnected). And also towed my brotherīs Cherokee from another town to our house (i ended up towing him with only 2 cils. connected!... uphill!).

P.S.: I will change this spark plugs ASAP!!!

Hi Encho
What for a year of construction is the Bronco ?
I have a 79` 5,7 and waited for the restoration.
If my Bronco 30 years - it is in Germany an old timer = few taxes and little insurance pays

Sorry for the bad English

Yes, old cars without catalyst pay many taxes.
Fast car = many accidents = much insurance.
30 years an old car is culture. That may stink and drink. :-D And has few accidents.
