Red face rear diff temp sensor and home mods

Im having no luck finding a differential sensor and guage. Any confirmed sightings out there? Black cloud doesnt have anything listed.

Also does anyone have a list of all the home mods?

fuel pressure reg-ball bearing or spacer
exhaust brake + tc lockup
air filter conversion
10k resistor mod- but will it mess up a chip i have coming?
aic mod- but what does that actually do?
ccv- to do list

What more can I look to do?

KF,

Happy b-day here in a few man. I just had my 30th three days ago. I looked up you profile to see where in AZ you are. It doesn't say. If you are in Phx, I have a name and # where you can get your Diff temp gauge and sender. I Have the Autometer in my truck and love it. I also have names and #'s for the other mods you ask about. You will need to conatact me on private email as they are not sponser here. But they are members of FTE and also local here to Phx. Not me but some friends.

I may be a little late on this post, but here it is anyway. The differential temp gauge is the same as the other temp gauges. If you already have a tranny temp gauge, or water temp etc. you could just buy the sending unit for that gauge and install a SPDT switch and use one gauge to monitor both. I do that with mine for tranny and engine oil temp. Works great! Now I see they have a four gauge pod. Hmmm...I guess I need or make that want another gauge. I just need to find the excuse to monitor something else.lol. Once bitten by the mod bug... infected for life.
There are worse afflictions I guess.

Austin

I'm pretty sure my mag-hytec diff cover has a threaded boss on it for a temp probe. Any trans temp guage with an electrical sending unit should work.

Are we not allowed to name the places we've gotten parts if they're not a sponsor of this site? I've dealt with a company in the Phoenix area on gauges and I know they've done Differential Temp Gauge installs. Maybe it's the same one you're talking about....but now I don't want to say the name as I'm a newbie and I don't want to get in trouble.
