Question Wiper Motor Question

Does anyone know if the 73-79 wiper motors will work in the 69-72 model years?

Yes it will fit. You probably will have to swap the arm off the end to get the park in the correct place. Once that is done you can find a delay switch and plug it in and have delays on your truck.

Thanks jowilker. I guess I'll start looking for a switch now.

T1, Don't limit yourself to 78/79 pickups. Many of the Ford switches will work. Unplug the the switch from the harness and take it with you when you go hunting. The delay switch will plug into the existing harness. It will come with a ground wire, a 2 1/2" cube to operate the delay, and a different switch. Some of the vans had slider switches and they wont fit the hole in the dash.

I enjoy showing off mine in my 66.

hopes this helps.

John: when you say different switch, do you mean a completely separate switch for the dalay circuit or is it included in the wiper switch itself with a separate harness that plugs in to the back of it. The plug I have now in my 70 has a 4 wire plug and then a separate 3 wire plug that plugs in next to it. I think the 3 wire plug is for the washer circuit.
