Hooked up a neutral saftey switch
Got an Neutral Safety Switch out of an '87 F-150 off the clutch pedal.
Didn't like the fact of if the truck's off, but in gear, hit the button and it rolls away.
Hooked it up by unscrewing the clutch pad, attaching a large washer with a small nut welded to it, re-installing the pad.
Next attached a "pulley" wheel to the fire wall as high up as possable by the cowl. attached the NNS to the fire wall directly below it.
Ran a cable (old lawnmower cable) from the clutch pedal to the wheel, around the wheel down to the NNS.
Depress the clutch which makes the cable go down. on the other side of the wheel, the cable goes up, pulling the NNS rod making the connection for the starter. The Ford NNS has a "self adjusting" rod. Works great!
