dana 60 king-pin knuckles?

Anybody know where I can buy a set of Dana 60 king-pin style knuckles? I called Bronco Graveyard and they don't have any. The only aftermarket ones I could find are Dedenbear for $289/ea, any other suggestions? Has anyone used the Dedenbaears, are they worth the money?

never personally used the DB's but i have seen first hand what they go through and good grief they will takea beating! right now that $289 seems like a lot but down the road years to come when all the rest of the axle has corroded and rusted away there your DB's sit

serisouly they are worth it, other than them i dont know of any other company that build aftermarket knuckles. might try a j-yard? aren't the knuckles from a D50 exactly the same? or close to them? if so i have a set i will get rid of!

I've been looking for a set myself and have to say that I'm not finding regular USED knuckles for a whole lot less than DB's new bling knuckles. If you look on ebay you'll find junkyard pulled D60 knuckles going for $150-$250 a piece.

first do you actually need the whole kingpin. i thought i did and tore them apart and found out that the plastic bushing was cracked in about a billion pieces. all i really needed was a rebuild kit not nearly as expensive as the kingping parts check this website out this will take you right to the kit site. hope it helps

They ARE more rad but also way more $$$...and frankly I think the dedenbears will do the job just fine.

I don't have a link handy, but a search on Pirate will yield a couple of threads with pics and specs.

Good link Conter but I think he meant the Welderboy knuckles which are the bearing units with no king pin. Here, check out this link: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387955

Holy hot damn they're $1200 a pair too! That's more than most people pay for the whole friggin axle.

lol ya no kidding! i paid right at a grand and it came with steering, wheels, tires, shocks, trac bar and driveshaft! i figure i really paid $800 for the axle and the $200 for all the extras

i'd have to break my knuckles over and over before i dropped $1200 into just knuckles. but before i did that i'd just go easy!
