Spied a new Super Duty

Saw one myself (black one) while visiting Colorado the following week on 10/5. I got a few pics of it in Georgetown at the gas station. It sounded like a gasser when it stared up and pulled away. I'm certain that it was a 2WD. I'll try to get the pics up in the next few days. One thing I did notice was the Tow mirrors were covered as well as the front and rear of the truck... so I guess that will be something new to look for as well. The bed had a full size truck chrome tool box. I couldn't see much of the interior as the test equipment (laptop and gear) filled the dash and passengers side.

Thanks for the pics.
You have to wonder if, driven around with no disguise, would anyone notice it? Surely all those covers make it stand out like dogs' *****.
Low ride suggests 2WD
Small exhaust tip diameter suggests gas, not diesel.
Looks like the headlight cluster is taller and goes all the way down to the top of the bumper now.
A pity you didn't get a cabin pic, but I'm sure it's the same as the Everest spy pics and will look like a super-sized F150 cabin. Should be very comfy in there.
New rear treatment on the bumper and the tailgate. Same otherwise, maybe a new reflector lense in the mirrors.
Let's hope what's under the hood is as good as the competition. Or better.

humm anyone notice the fender flares? also did you guys notice the front bumper has been lowered as part of a new safety law? it requires bumpers to be lower to be more car friendly thus lower to hte ground . the body looks good so at least it has not changed much. the tonka look headlights are obvious.

When I saw this truck at the gas station.... It didn't register with me as being a Ford. It wasn't as obvious as you might think. In fact it took me a few looks before I realized what it was. I stopped filling my truck (not to difficult when diesel was $3.20 gallon :-) and grabbed my camera (was ready to shoot as we were on vacation) the guy was walking out from the convience store and he didn't look to happy about me clicking pics so I didn't ask any questions.
I took a quick peak inside the passsenger side from about 10 feet away... the whole dash was covered with cloth and the seats were vertical striped cloth (covers as well I'm sure). They had a big laptop mounted on the passenger side which really blocked the interior view.
I'm sure it was a gasser as it was quite quiet when it started and drove away.
Hope you all enjoy the photos... This was the second one we saw on the road this year and was glad to have a camera ready to capture it.
