gas tank removal

gas tank removal
HI, I just found my old tank on my 85 F150 was leaking pretty bad, several small pin holes. I have bought a new tank for the truck but am kinda stuck removing the fuel line from the sending unit. It appears to have some kind of hose with a small clip that slides down over the connector. Do I just push the clip back up then remove the hose? If so do I have to wiggle to break it free. I am also having trouble getting the filler hose off. I have the clamp off but the hose is clamped pretty good to the tank. Hope someone can throw in some helpful hints on how to remove the gas line and the filler hose, or is it best to replace the filler hose and the gas line? I will be replacing the sending units filter and maybe the sending unit while i have the tank off, would suck to get the tank back on and then the fuel guage not work.
Any and all replys will be welcomed

Well soaked the hoses with wd40 and let them set over night. The filler hose slide off pretty easy and the gas line came off pretty easy after i removed the clip that slides into the gas line.
Now im waiting on a rubber grommet for the vent hose, once it arrives i should have the tank through. Only thing I did notice is the notches on the tank where the sending unit fits back into the tank were in a different location. Im hoping this doesnt throw off the fuel gauage. Will know tommorrow when the grommet arrives and I fill the tank back up.
