Stall convertor question

anyone have an idea...i can build a tranny but i've never read up much on stalls?

Looks to be a pretty basic cam, I'd say you don't want your stall too far above stock, maybe 2000.

Ivan isn't too far off, although with a 302 a 2000 stall would be about the min I would put behind it with that cam, you might be a little better off with a 2400 stall. but some of that would have a lot to do with gears, and intended use.

ok time to order the stall...keeping in mind this is cheapo free farm truck with aod, the 2000 B&M is 156 bucks....the 2400 stall is about twice the price...so i'm thinkin that and some 4.10 gears or something like that...perhaps lower.
