Duane, what you got in the works for next months G2G. Might be the las time to have weather for an outside meet. Another BBQ or something might be nice.

Looks like that will be NASCAR weekend at Kansas Speedway for me. I'll have to miss another Wichita gtg.

We had originally talked about watson park but found out that there is a charge for the picnic shelters. We are in the process of finding a new location. We can always come back to over to my house for this one, if we can't find a suitable location, but I really like the idea of a park or some open area like that. Plus maybe we could get alittle exposure.

I think that Tony should stop lying, he really doen't like the Wichita guys, that is why he keeps coming up with "excuses" not to come to our g2g's. Next thing you know, he'll complain that gas is too expensive.

 

I bet he would be there if we had it at Ryan's.

Hey I like Wichita people. I just wish they were closer so I could see them more! And besides how can I not like a community with a Ryan's!

 

Sedgwick County Park up by the zoo would be a good place for a GTG

 

I agree. I don't think they charge for a shelter either, I can find out though. My work had our company picnic there last year. Not too bad of a place.

According to the Sedgwick County website, there is a $40 charge for all of their shelters. How does everyone feel about just meeting up in the park and grabing an open picnic area? It's not the most organized of events, but it could work.

I don't see why we can't find a open picnic area and use that. What say we meet up at BYB then cruise over to the park and locate a place?

 

Or we could go to the park in the afternoon. Think they have tennis courts, and a bike path around the park. Could check on maybe horse shoes. Maybe like a mini lake day. Then have a cook out or head on over to Backyard Burger at dark. That way we could get the clubs banner out in public during daylight hours.

 

I like the idea of making a day of it. I think they allow fishing at Sedgwick Co park too. That could be fun. I'm up for where ever.

 

I like the idea of a daytime meet also but I know some of the KC guys might have a schedule problem, if not I'm all for it. Never been to SC park before but it sounds good to me!!!

 

I think that sets it then. Angelia and I don't have anything going on that day, so we can be there whenever, I am hesitant about starting too early because I don't want anyone to get worn out, but I am willing to meet up whenever the anyone else is ready.
