Harley forum sites

I'm getting ready for my winter project and it will be a 91 Harley Davidson FLHTCU (full dresser). Had it for awhile. Been wanting to redo it for sometime now. This winter I should have the time to do it.

Looking for some good sites like this one, for Harleys. If they deal in other makes of motorcycles that ok. My best friend has a 73 Suzuki GT 550 he's trying to get running. Just need good advice like I get from the good people here.

Thanks
Eric Adams

I typed in ten magazines. I didn't think it was part of FTW. Been registered at FTW for awhile now. Haven't been to FTW for awhile either.

Is there anymore antone else can come up with.

I did google, not much came up.

Thanks
Eric

Do you put Vaseline on the chrome before it rains? Thanks to parks911.

This guy has always dreamed of owning a Harley Davidson. One day he has finally saved up enough money so he goes down to the dealer and he picks out the perfect bike. While getting all the paperwork together, the dealer tells him about an old biker-trick that will keep the chrome on his new bike free from rust. The trick is to keep a jar of Vaseline handy and put it on the chrome before it rains, and everything will be fine. He happily pays for the bike and leaves.
A few months later, the young man meets a woman and falls in love. She wants him to meet her parents so she asks him to come to dinner. He readily accepts and the date is set. At the appointed time, he picks her up on his Harley and they ride to her parents' house. Before they go in, she tells him that they have a family tradition that whoever speaks first after dinner must do the dishes.
After a delicious dinner everyone sits in silence waiting for the first person to break and get stuck doing the dishes. After a long fifteen minutes, the young man decides to speed things up. He reaches over and kisses his woman in front of her family. No one says a word. Emboldened, he throws her on the table and has sex with her in front of everyone. No one says a word. Now he is getting desperate, so he grabs her mother and throws HER on the table.
They have even wilder sex. No one says a word. He is wondering what to do next when he hears thunder in the distance. His first thought is to protect the chrome on his Harley, so he reaches in his pocket and pulls out his jar of Vaseline.
The father says "Okay dammit, I'll do the dishes!"

That's good joke there Kevin.I'll have to tell my bros that one.

I don't use Vaseline on the chrome before it rains. Will KY jelly work?

I just relieved I put this thread in the wrong forum. Opps

Thanks Kevin from TN. That v-twin forum link has Ohio people posting, regularly. The rest don't have many.

I'm a regional/tech forum reader. I like to meet new people just as long as I don't have to drive/ride too far. The tech support will come when I actually do something technical.

That last link (10 Magazines) is a direct competitor to this site. They also do Ford trucks forums and toyota, chevy , jeep, Mustangs, etc. They're a different setup and not really user friendly, at least for me. Great if you want to post pics but to actually use the forums can be hit and miss.

Was it your first visit to Cincinnati? How did you like it?

Eric

Edit: I wouldn't use Preparation H too much it might make your pipes shrink.
