"96 Explorer PCV Valve.
Hey everyone,
My explorer has been throwing a PCV valve hose code for the last few years on and off. I finally decided to check it all out and replace the valve (2 bucks, for crying out loud). The only problem is... I can't find the damned thing. I know some one recently posted in a different thread that it is on the back of the manifold, but I still can't find it. And the Haynes manual refers to a different type engine.
I have a 1996 Explorer Sport with a 4.0 6cyl engine. If anyone can tell me where the PCV valve is on this vehicle (or post a digital photo), I would SINCERELY appreciate it!

It is located on the drivers side valve cover. If you look about 2 inches from the back, right below where the vacuum line from the brake booster hooks into the intake plenum, you will barely see it. Hope this helps.
