I designed an affordable(cheap!) and effective intake modification that gives an improvement over stock yet allows you to return to stock in in a couple of minutes in order to avoid any warranty hassles. I know other people have experimented with modifying the factory intake but there are some pretty good ideas in this thread. Go here: DWV intake mod.

Were you looking to do it? If so, searching "Gott Mod" might help. I read about it, but then my '07 had a commercial version from the previous owner, but I remember was a lot of posts on it back when these trucks were newer.
