Deep Sump Transmission Pans
Has anyone tried using a deep sump transmission pan? If so how much did it help with with cooling and how many quarts over stock did it take. Im not sure if I should go to 4 or 8 quarts over stock. My transmission continues to get to hot while towing up grades even after installing an aux cooler. I think this will be my next move.

I'm using a TCI deep pan. I don't know for certain, I'd like to say it's 4 extra quarts but I may be wrong on that. I've been playing around with my tranny cooling system lately to get a good workable combo but the pan seems to do a good job and it throws off a lot of heat.

Do not go to ebay and buy the cheapest chrome deep transmission pan there is. I did that and the SOB never sealed right, i bought a B&M Alum pan and it hasnt leaked since. It's 2 extra quarts and it keep the temp down to 170-180 towing a 856 Bobcat, w/tranny cooler of course.
