Good point ! No doubt the New Zuk will be tight. Just wish they built a cross county set up as well. We are definately lucky.... I remember when the sport bikes included only options like blaster, warrior, banshee, mojave and 300ex
Is it possible to use the Roush SC with the original air filter? I don't but I have heard that driving dusty roads with some K&N or similar air filters lets dirt in the engine.
Is it possible to change the pulley size so that the boost level can be changed?
Here is one that I am not sure if this could be true. A guy with (I hate to say it) an Avalache, put a whipple supercharger on to tow his boat. He said he ran 87 octane and got 3 mpg more while towing. Could this guy maybe had a custom tune done for his truck. I am not looking at building a race truck, I am more interested in towing.
So lets see buy a $5,000 supercharger and maybe gain a few more MPG of which I doubt, you will probably use more fuel, but you will tow better and I doubt you can use 87 octane.
I currently tow over 7,500lbs with a 5.4 3:73 LS using 87 octane, and it tows fine.
Got the roush s/c for 3800 friday. should be here next friday. Will post when I get it installed. If any of you have suggestions when installing it let me know.
Im intrested in the Whipple, I just want to find someone that has it. Just to see how they like it. 5400 is a lot to spend. Please correct me if Im wrong, but wouldn't the Whipple be alot better that the Roush since it intercooled? Whipple claims an additional 170 RWHP! Thats awesome.
