My buddy and I are putting together a truck '77 crew cab on a 79 frame. Everything went well till we put in a T-19 4 speed with a 12" clutch, the bellhousing came off of a 400 engine. When we start the truck it clatters and knocks like crazy. we can adust the linlage to get the noise out, but with no free play. we can adust till we get free play but the noise comes back. Is there a different bellhousing for 12" clutches? Any ideas would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks Jesse.
