'86 Bronco II Hesitation and Stalling
Have '86 BII XLT EFI auto w/ 210K Miles (original owner). After the car warms up while driving - when i let up on the gas pedal the car feels like it is hesitating and has begun to cut off when I slow to a stop - it will start back up. Took it to the dealer and they code not find the problem. It appears to be stalling more frequently. At first I though it was the transmission going but know that the engine cuts off while driving I think it may be electrical...?

Have just swapped out plugs, wires (one had a cut in it) as well as the cap and rotor - will drive test soon. (by the way have had O2, throttle body position sensor and fuel injector cleaning 30 days ago)
I saw a link on one posting for how to test for fault codes by shorting the two cables that go to the code reader with a paper clip then you count the blinking dash lights - does someone have this link or additional info on how to do this??
