f-150 4x4 Steering Column/Airbag Question
I own a 1988 F-150 Custom on 35's, and a guy wanted to come look at it that was interested in buying it. He asked me why wasnt the airbag repaired in it. I told him that i did not think that it ever had an airbag in it. He said say it did and that it didnt have the original sterring column in it, he said that the steering column that was in it now was from an ltd. So i got on the internet and looked at some interior pics of 1988 f-150's and all of the steering wheels that i seen looked indenical to the one that is in my truck. I dont know if he is trying to talk me down, or if he is correct. Can someone please tell me anything about 1988 f-150 custom 4x4 "airbags", or sterring columns/steering wheels. any info would be much appreciated

I've never personally seen an f-250 with an airbag until they came out with the new super duty design, as KW160 stated. Not to say that Ford never did, I've seen some crazy things roll out of their factory lol. Buddy of mine bought an 00 Nascar edition f-150, with a 4.6, and for some reason the intake is much bigger than what a normal 4.6 has. Noone ever touched this truck, he bought it right off the showroom floor.
