I-beam Stud

Im lifting my 84 f150 4x4 and i have on side done on the front, took the coil spring retaining nut off of one side and saw that the nut below that was gone i had to cut the top of the stud off to get it out of the I-Beam, so i could get the radius arm off, problem is that Ford said the stud stud/bolt into the I-beam is discontinued, and no junkyards have 4wd trucks, i was wondering if anyone knew where i could find one because this is all that is holding me up. Thanks.

Besides LMC, you can try NPD at 800-874-7595.

Did you try asking for one for a '96 F150 or a '97 F2/350? It seems strange to me that a part that was used 8 years ago has already been discontinued. But it isn't like it's a part that breaks that much, so maybe they have.

Or even some of the lift manufactures, they might have something.

I had the same problem, I had to torch the nut to get it off and screwed the threads. Ford could not get me one so I went to the local bolt supply house. They did not have the right one either, but had a simmilar bolt but the threads did not go far enough down the bolt. I used an old tap and die to finish the threads. The bolt was very hard but if I worked slowly I could continue the threading. Just another suggestion.
